I’m currently deployed in Al Asad, Iraq. I had the distinct pleasure in meeting the Boys and Ish back stage and after their performance, they are down to earth and very appreciative to all the service members out here. They allowed me to watch them perform on stage, that was an experience of a lifetime which I’ll never forget. I hope I get the opportunity to watch them perform live again. The Boys are Pura RAZA and they represent what we have struggled in achiving sucess, keep up with the TEXICAN style of music.

I heard you guys play Spokane last night & “four hands on a guitar” was certainly a spiritual moment! I loved your Spanish ’50s influences, but there seems to be lyrics missing–or a duet lurking–between the lines of “Forgiveness.” I heard a couple lines of JoJo singing it during your song….One line was: “Oh, Lord can’t you see….deep inside of me, I’m asking you….” before: “If you can hear me praying….”

You guys,I just watched the PBS special two words AWEEEEE-sommme!You know its funny that I just seen a documentry on the late SR Vaughn and man its like mind blowing!The guitar work Henry is outta this world,brother Jo jo the bass riffs are incredabliy rich,and the man Ringo from one drummer to another you bring everything togather like Ice cream & apple pie.You guys got in my soul,and that ain’t easy.I have been around music For 40 plus years,and its not very often that I can say,that Los lonely Boys are more than musica.You guys define the word entertainment!Your love and commitment to the sound is more than any words can describe!I just recently worked in austin Tx.,and believe me if i’d of known then what i know now about LLB I would have walked to San Angelo to sit on the patio with your family,and listen to what I can say is the sweetest sound my ears have had the pleasure to here in a very long time.Keep it real as if I had to say that!Wild Bill from Homerville Georgia(yes it is really a town in Georgia)P.S.
